Beschreibung

Dafür, dass diese Aufnahme entstehen konnte, sorgten die Fans des Dallas Winds und des Komponisten John Mackey mittels eines Crowdfunding. Asphalt Cocktail wurde im texanischen Dallas im Morton H. Meyerson Concert Center eingespielt und von den bewährten Toningenieuren Keith O. Johnson und Sean Martin auf Band festgehalten. Das Dallas Winds spielt unter der Leitung von Jerry Junkin, für Antique Violences: Concerto for Trumpet wurde Christopher Martin engagiert, Solotrompeter des New York Philharmonic.
